Leading fashion designer Deborah Veale has designed outfits for everyone from president Mary McAleese to corporate bosses and Irish actors on the Oscars red carpet but in her 30-year career, she’s never had clients before who insisted on the squat test when they first saw the clothes
"Oh, the squat test was very important," Deborah said as she explained the amount of attention and detail that went into creating a new bespoke suit for the Ireland women’s national rugby team.
