I believe that if couples are serious about spending the rest of their lives together, then they should sleep together as soon as possible. I’m talking first date, definitely no later than fourth date, really before anything else, before they meet each other’s friends, or family, or talk about any kind of future plans, they should sleep together. And no, I don’t mean sex, I mean actual sleeping.

If you plan on spending the rest of your life with this person, the one thing you will do together, more than any other thing, is sleep. There will be points in your life where you don’t spend a huge amount of time sleeping at the same time, ie, from the birth of your first child to the point where your youngest child finally leaves home, but for the most part you will spend a good five to eight hours out of every 24 sleeping alongside this person, so it is of utmost importance that you find out whether they are a good fit for your unconscious self.
