Gardaí issue appeal after car burnt out following crash that killed motorcyclist in Co Carlow

The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene on a local road between Rathoe and Ballon at Sandbook.

The car involved in the incident was found burnt out at the same location.

Gardaí said the occupants of the car had fled by the time they and emergency services arrived shortly before 11pm.
