Catherine Prasifka is a novelist from Dublin. Her first novel, None of This Is Serious, was a bestseller. In January, she was appointed Writer Fellow at Trinity College Dublin. Her new novel This is How You Remember It is published by Canongate and is out now.

The books by your bedside? Eros the Bittersweet by Anne Carson. I picked this up after seeing a video essay by the YouTuber Contrapoints. I tend to read non-fiction when I’m refining my ideas, and I tend to read about either love or the internet (no great shock if you’re familiar with my work). After this, I will be reading Love and Limerence by Dorothy Tennov.
