Catherine Prasifka is a novelist from Dublin. Her first novel, None of This Is Serious, was a bestseller. In January, she was appointed Writer Fellow at Trinity College Dublin. Her new novel This is How You Remember It is published by Canongate and is out now.

​The books by your bedside? Eros the Bittersweet by Anne Carson. I picked this up after seeing a video essay by the YouTuber Contrapoints. I tend to read non-fiction when I’m refining my ideas, and I tend to read about either love or the internet (no great shock if you’re familiar with my work). After this, I will be reading Love and Limerence by Dorothy Tennov.
